Fifteen. That’s the number of players that got a taste of the Class 2A State Boys’ Soccer Semifinals in 2013 that are back again for Coach Mark Solomon and the Pella High Little Dutch. Expectations are high and tonight, Pella will host Winterset for their first game of the season. Coach Solomon says the team has already talked about the goals for 2014, and they haven’t really changed much over the last several years, though, he says the guys are being more realistic about the expectations for this season. The JV teams will play first at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity squads set to begin the season on the Pella High pitch at 7:00 p.m.
