Making it to the state meet a season ago, the Pleasantville girls’ golf team tees off the 2014 spring campaign this afternoon at home against PCM and Melcher-Dallas. Both the Mustangs and Trojans are dealing with losses of key golfers from last season. Pleasantville lost Ashley Jahner who was a frequenter at the state meet during her time as a Trojan, while PCM lost some seniors and have only four girls on the varsity squad. Coach Dan Calhoun says despite losing Ashley, he has a team full of girls that bring experience and carry their heads on a swivel. The girls will all tee off at 4:00 p.m.
