Abi Davis and Drew Jackson were named the Iowa Conference track events performers of the week after this weekend’s performances in the Jim Duncan Invitational. Davis was fifth in the 200 meter dash, losing to athletes from UNI, Iowa State and Drake. That time in the 200 for Davis is second best in the conference and 28th in the nation. Jackson was the runner-up in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, and won the 1,500 meter run in under four minutes. The Dutch are back in action tomorrow at the Central College Open, with field events scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. kick-off and running events starting at 2:30.
