This afternoon, the Pella Christian girls’ golf team is scheduled to have their first meet of the season at home at the Pella Golf and Country Club. Though the weather has been chilly, rainy and even snowy at times over the past few weeks, throwing a kink into the works for trying to practice outside, Coach Larry Hessing says they’ve been able to be productive inside. Hessing tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that the team has been working on swing technique using lines on the floor in the classroom and they’ve went over rules with the newer girls on the team. However, the rain that’s in the forecast for today could put a hold on the Eagles’ first meet. The meet is scheduled to start at 4:15 p.m. If it does get postponed, KNIA/KRLS Sports will let you know first, fast and accurately.
