After near-record high temperatures Wednesday across Marion County, the National Weather Service is expecting strong thunderstorms in the area today. The Storm Prediction Center issued a moderate risk of severe storms across most of Central Iowa, including Marion County. The largest threat will be large hail up to over an inch in diameter.The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on alert and monitoring the situation to bring you the latest weather information.
