Stuck inside of a tough regional bracket, the PCM girls’ soccer team will get a nice dose of stiff competition in a small amount of time starting today. The Mustangs will play four games in five days, with all but one contest requiring some travel. Coach Bill Sowder tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his girls are playing and practicing with a bit more confidence after their 2 – 0 shutout win over Knoxville on Friday, and says they are excited to get back out on the pitch and start playing. He adds the key to this week will be conditioning. PCM travels to South Tama for their first game of the week this afternoon with an early start time of 4:30 p.m.
