This weekend, Habitat for Humanity of Marion County will hold a dedication for a build in Knoxville. Outreach Coordinator Beth Adamcik says the dedication is a meaningful ceremony where Habitat thanks volunteers and donors for their help, and where those individuals and organizations have a chance to meet the home buyer. The ceremony includes scripture reading, a consecration of the home and prayer, and concludes with a candle lighting and presentation of a Bible and the keys to the home. This week’s dedication will take place at 310 West Main in Knoxville, at 10:00 Saturday morning.
