By a whopping 16 strokes, the Pleasantville girls’ golf team won their second-round regional tournament yesterday in Corning, earning themselves a berth in the Class 2A state tournament. The Trojans shot a team score of 375, and were led by meet-medalist, Hannah Gordon, who carded an 84. Pleasantville moves on to the state tournament for Class 2A, which will be held at the American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown on June 2 and 3.
