Following a disheartening loss to Centerville on Thursday, the Knoxville Baseball Squad sent the Panther fans home happy last night by defeating Winterset 6-3. Nolan Wallace got the win going five innings of relief allowing no runs on just two hits. The Panthers also benefitted from six Husky errors plus timely hitting. Tony Salato went 4/4 with two R-B-I, and Bryce Zoutte was 2/3 while driving in a run. The Panthers do not get the weekend off as they get right back at with a double header today against Van Meter. Coach Joel Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that the Bulldogs not only are good at baseball, but all other sports as well. First pitch today is at noon at the Knoxville Baseball Field.
