Once you pop…onto the Blue Oval of Drake Stadium, you just can’t stop, apparently. The Pella High girls’ track and field team, after qualifying a school-record number of events to the Drake Relays last week, are looking for an encore performance at the same venue starting on May 22 for the state track meet. Coach Dak Rasmussen said even some of the upperclassmen who had a taste last year, have set their goals to get back there in a few weeks. First things first, the Little Hawkeye Conference meet at Pella High Stadium this Monday night.
