With a team comprised of nearly half JV players due to seniors being out for various reasons, the PCM girls’ soccer team lost to South Tama last night, 3 – 2. Coach Bill Sowder tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was extremely proud of his team, fighting back from a 3 – 0 deficit in the second half to nearly tie it up. Sowder says they never quit and he was impressed by that fact. The Mustangs’ goals came off the feet of Jessica Albright and Kennah Walters. PCM drops to 2 – 11 on the year and get right back on the pitch tonight, on the road against Des Moines Hoover.
