Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey was also in Pella on Friday. He toured the Vermeer Windmill in the morning before heading to Oskaloosa. Despite numerous trips to Pella, he says he hadn’t had the chance to tour the windmill. He said the tour really reminds him at how far ag technology has come and how fast it continues to change.
