Even a soggy, gloomy night couldn’t keep the PCM girls from winning their first Heart of Iowa Conference track and field meet since Coach Bridget Martin was a senior Mustang in 2003. Coach Martin tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that every point mattered and she is very, very proud of her girls so far. The Mustangs had five conference championship events with six finishing as runner-up. PCM won in the 4 x 100, 200 and 400 meter relays, in the 400 hurdles and in the long jump. Full results are found below. The Mustang girls will try to use that momentum to their advantage on Thursday with the state qualifying meet.
