PCM girls’ track and field coach, Bridget Martin, says that the Cardinal Relays is “always a favorite meet” of her team. It’s no wonder why, as her team looked very impressive in a second place finish to the host Newton Cardinals. The Mustangs had seven first place finishes and six that came in second. Among the highlights for PCM included another re-writing of the history books. This time, the girls re-wrote a record they set this season in the 4 x 100 meter relay, clocking in at a time of 51.10. The PCM boys were fifth, and Pleasantville was fourth. Leading the way for PCM’s boys was a second place finish by Skylar Koder in the high jump, and Maverick McAtee’s third place 1600 meter run. For the Trojans, they set a season-best in the 4 x 100 meter relay, coming in third place with a time of 45.85. Full results for all teams can be found by clicking below.
