A graduate of Pella High School was recently recognized for her work at the state level. Victim Coordinator for the Iowa Board of Parole Sarah Harms was awarded the 2014 Outstanding Victim Assistance Award at the Iowa Corrections Association Conference in April. Her mother Jill Vandevoort says that it’s important to acknowledge the work done in these fields. Harms serves as an active member of the Iowa Department of Corrections Victim Advisory Council and Iowa Organization for Victim Assistance.
