Woodward-Granger gave Pleasantville’s baseball team a taste of their own medicine when it came to late-inning heroics last night, winning on a walk-off single over the Trojans, 4 – 3. Riley Krichau took the loss on the mound for Pleasantville. The Trojans’ girls fell to the number-four ranked team in Class 3A in softball, 6 – 0. The baseball squad is 1 – 1, the girls are 0 – 1. Neither team has much time to dwell on their losses; the boys host North Mahaska and the girls also stay in town to take on Southeast Warren.
