Last night was the night the lights went out in Murray. Twin Cedars’ baseball team beat up on Central Decatur before having their game with the Mustangs suspended due to the lights going out. The Sabers’ day started with an 18 – 0 win over Central Decatur in four innings. Trace Embray threw three innings and gave up just one hit. Coy Moore went 2-for-3 with a homer, Otis Roby had a grand slam, and Corey Harrell was 2-for-3 with two homers. The Sabers were ahead of the Mustangs 2 – 1 in the second inning and then was suspended. That game will be picked up on July 3 in Murray with a time still to be determined. The Sabers now are 5 – 0 this year and play Lamoni tonight.
