Central sophomore, Abi Davis, made it into the finals of the 200 meter dash thanks to a school-record effort yesterday on day one of the NCAA Division III Women’s Track and Field Championships. Davis recorded a time of 24.37 seconds, which was third fastest overall and beat her previous personal best by over half a second. She qualifies for Saturday’s finals at 4:25 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). Central’s 4 x 400 meter relay team was 15th overall, and today, junior Hillary Hotz will compete in the high jump.
