In a rare instance when it was a non-conference game, Twin Cedars took down Melcher-Dallas in softball action yesterday, 11 – 4. Bailey Stone went 3-for-4 with a triple and scored four runs, and Brittney Roby swatted a pair of doubles as well. Mackenzie Sedlock pitched all seven for the Sabers to earn the win on the mound. Mackenzie Suntken was 2-for-3 at the plate for the Saints and drove in a run. Twin Cedars is now 1 – 1 on the year. The Saints play in a tournament in Muscatine next on Saturday, while the Sabers play Lamoni later today.
