It’s fairly easy to pick out a memorable moment from a season when you break a long-standing record. That’s what the Central men’s golf team did during their 2014 spring campaign. A week before the start of the Iowa Conference tournament, the Dutch took first place at the Grand View Invitational, winning by one stroke over the host university, with no individual shooting above a score of 74 for the team. Coach Chad Green says he couldn’t have been more impressed by the way his guys performed. More good news for Dutch golf fans: the team lost just three seniors off the squad, and brings back a majority of their scoring for the 2014-15 season.
