Pella Christian’s baseball team will try to gain some footing in the Little Hawkeye Conference with a twinbill against an up-and-down Oskaloosa team this evening. The Indians have shown signs of greatness this year, with wins over Knoxville, Dallas Center-Grimes, Newton and Norwalk in league play so far. In fact, all but one of Oskaloosa’s eight losses this year has come against conference opponents. The Eagles, however, are still looking for that first victory within the L-H-C. Pella Christian’s softball team was blanked by the Indians, 9 – 0 back on June 6. The baseball doubleheader starts first at 5:30 p.m. with game one on the softball diamond scheduled for a six o’clock start.
