Pella Christian baseball picked up their first conference win of the season in a split with Oskaloosa on Wednesday. The Eagles won game one 3 – 2 but dropped the nightcap, 8 – 3. Over on the dirt, the Eagles’ softball team played two competitive games with the Indians, but went home empty, 3 – 2 and 8 – 3. Abby Pleima had two singles in game one, and Sophie Howerzyl also had a pair of hits in the two losses. Pella Christian baseball is now 7 – 15 overall and the girls fall to 10 – 11. The ladies will play a doubleheader with Dallas Center-Grimes and the boys take on A-D-M in a JV/Varsity contest.
