Eagles Drop Tough Pair of Games to Oskaloosa

Pella Christian’s baseball team was blanked last night, 7 – 0 by Oskaloosa. Eighth-grader, Jaden Rolffs, had a double, while Clay Stravers, Dillon Branderhorst, Andrew VanderHart and Coltin Collins all singled for the Eagles. On the girls’ side, Pella Christian’s ladies fell to number-ten ranked Indians, 9 – 0. Natalie Vos had half of the team’s hits with a pair of singles in the contest. The loss drops Pella Christian’s boys to 3 – 6 and the girls to 5 – 3. Both squads are at Colfax-Mingo to take on the TigerHawks later tonight.
