Eagles Split With Two Different Opponents

Pella Christian baseball broke up a four-game losing streak with a 7 – 6 win over Carlisle on Tuesday. Jaden Rolffs, Coltin Collins and Dillon Branderhorst all had a pair of hits, and Nate Haveman collected three at the plate. Clay Stravers earned the win pitching, going three strong innings. Pella Christian softball pushed a one-loss Lynnville-Sully team to extra innings but fell to the Hawks, 2 – 1. Chloe Dembski had the Eagles’ lone run with a home run. Eagles’ softball drops to 8 – 7 while the baseball team is 5 – 11. Both Pella Christian teams make the road trip to Grinnell tonight, and you can hear the softball contest live on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com, with Cory Houser on the call. Pregame starts at around 7:15 p.m. with first pitch at 7:30.
