Things were not going so well for Knoxville Baseball in its doubleheader at Grinnell on Friday night, trailing 5-0 in the fourth inning of game one, but that is when everything turned around. The Panthers would rally to win the first game 9-7 and complete to sweep with a 3-1 victory in the nightcap. Bryce Zoutte labored through six innings in Game one to earn his fifth win of the year. Tony Salato would pitch the seventh to earn his fifth save. In game two, Knoxville would hand Grinnell senior Eli Dunne just his second loss since his freshman season, beating him for the second time this year. Cameron Liston struck out six in four innings of work, while Kaden Loscher earned the win in relief, and once again Tony Salato got his sixth save of the season and second of the night. Kevin Woodhouse was a force at the place going 6/7 on the night with two doubles and scored three times. Knoxville is now 12-8 overall and 7-5 in the Little Hawkeye conference.
