Knoxville’s City Council to Discuss TIF Funding, Manhole Project

The Knoxville City Council will meet Monday evening, in a special session, at 6:15 at City Hall. The agenda calls for discussion and approval of a development agreement with TIF Fox Pointe, Inc., authorizing annual appropriation tax increment payments, in an amount not to exceed $325,000. Also included will be discussion and possible action on a sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation project at Godfrey Lane and East Main Street, as well as discussion regarding a contract with Veenstra and Kimm for engineering services related to the project.
