Ethan Butler’s pitching and awakened bats by the Pella High baseball team helped take down a very good Saydel squad last night, 6 – 2. Grant Judkins had a pair of RBI’s, and Tyler Hillman and Jason Morgan each had a pair of hits. Butler went six innings on the hill, giving up five hits, one earned run and two walks. Coach Jesse Jablonski tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team played much better defense against a solid Saydel team that was 11 – 2 coming into play Tuesday. The Little Dutch end a three-game losing streak with the win and improve to 9 – 7 on the year. They’ll play Newton later tonight.
