PCM pitching allowed just two hits but also committed six errors defensively. Trey Lindsay had two hits to lead the way offensively in game one. Nine runs were put up in the PCM third, allowing them to take a 10 – 3 win in the consolation game versus Cardinal of Eldon. However, the Mustangs still committed four errors in the nightcap. On the softball diamond, the Mustang girls toppled Sigourney, but lost to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Mt. Pleasant. Jayci Vos went 5-for-10 on the day and Makenna Van Veen knocked out three hits. Both squads are back at it on Monday to take on Nevada.
