Getting back to conference play after weekend tournaments, PCM baseball and softball breezed by Nevada in Monroe last night. The Mustangs’ boys won 9 – 3 after pounding out 11 hits. Three of them came off the bat of Chase Keuning, and Austin Brown had two hits and drove in three runs. The fans at the softball game did not get a lot of bang for their buck, as that contest lasted just three innings with a 12 – 0 victory for the home Mustangs. Kayla Jennings picked up the win on the mound, and Jayci Vos was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three RBI’s. PCM’s girls are now 11 – 4, the boys improve to 7 – 5, and they are each off until Wednesday to take on Gilbert.
