PCM Falls in Battle of Attrition to Roland-Story, Softball Picks up Win

PCM and Roland-Story combined for six hits, but Roland-Story took advantage of their opportunities more in a 5 – 1 win over the Mustangs. Zach Uhlenhopp had two of PCM’s three hits on the day. PCM softball picked up a 7 – 3 win over Roland-Story. Rachel Freland got the win with five strikeouts on the mound. Katie VandeWall had two hits and two RBI’s. PCM’s boys drop to 9 – 9 overall and the girls’ record swells to 14 – 7. Mustangs’ softball plays Colfax-Mingo tonight while baseball will do battle in Bussey against the number-one ranked Twin Cedars Sabers.
