Pella High School Newspaper Students Recognized Statewide

Pella High School’s newspaper students earned statewide awards for their publication. The high school students earned 11 awards in the 2014 Iowa Newspaper Association Spring Awards. They were recognized for their work in illustrations, columns, page design, news stories, and news photos. Derrick Akers, Ben Konfrst, and Garrett Jansen earned 1st place recognition.
