Rain put a damper on Twin Cedars’ softball on Saturday, as the Sabers were shutout by North Mahaska in the Oskaloosa tournament, 6 – 0. Brittney Roby was charged with the loss as the starting pitcher, but went 2-for-3 at the plate. Baylee Zellmer and Bailey Stone also came up with hits for the Sabers, who fall to 4 – 3 on the year. Next up on the docket for the Sabers is a trip to Wayne on Monday night.
