Another slow start by the Knoxville baseball squad ended in a fast and furious finish as the Panthers stormed back with the help of Mother Nature to beat Oskaloosa 7-3 last night. The Panthers found themselves down 3-0 early but took the lead in the fifth. The game was delayed by lightning for over an hour and then when it resumed…the Panthers put it away with a three R-B-I double by D.J. Snyder in the bottom of the sixth. Jake Kendall was able to get the save and Kevin Woodhouse got the win going five innings giving up three runs on six hits and two strikeouts. Woodhouse was also 2/4 and Kendall went 3/3 with a double. Knoxville is now 13-8 on the season and improve to 8-5 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
