Van Meter and Chariton prevailed over Pleasantville baseball and softball last night. Trojans’ softball fell 10 – 0 to the Chargers, while the Pleasantville hardball team was edged by the Bulldogs, 6 – 3. Coach Sheldon Card tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that their defense cost them last night. Pleasantville is off today and they will clash with Corning at home at the end of the week.
