Storming back from a tie for fifth place, the Pleasantville girls’ golf team was the runners-up in the Class 2A state golf tournament that concluded yesterday. Hannah Gordon finished fifth individually with a total score of 167. The Trojans shaved 25 strokes off of their round one score to beat third place Alta-Aurelia by three strokes with a total team score of 743. Only one senior leaves the program from the varsity squad, and that’s Kaylea Thill. Pleasantville returns three sophomores, a freshman and a junior to the team next season.
