The “Home” sides of the scoreboards were stagnant last night, as Twin Cedars came to town and beat up on the Moravia baseball and softball teams. The Sabers trounced the Mohawks, 15 – 0 in five innings. Drew Carlson threw five shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out five. Collin Still, Carlston and Garret Pettyjohn each cranked out two hits. On the softball side of things, the Sabers won 10 – 0, also in five. Mackenzie Sedlock earned the shutout on the mound. Bailey Stone hit the team’s first home run of the season. The Saber boys are 7 – 0 and they will be at Principal Park to take on Van Meter this afternoon, while the girls improve to 3 – 1 and take on Seymour tonight.
