The Grand Theater Foundation got another boost Thursday morning, in the form of a $20,000 check from 3M in Knoxville. Foundation President Dylan Morse says they are now more than halfway to their $500,000 goal. Tracinda Yaw, Plant Manager with 3M, says it is a pleasure to watch the theater project come together, and 3M is happy to participate financially as well as supply volunteers to help with the work.

Work on the facade revealed two windows above the marquee, which open into the old projection room. The photo below is a view from inside the room, looking out at the courthouse.
