Area elementary and middle school students will have the opportunity to learn more about the Scholte Family this week. Scholte Fun Day takes place on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The program for students entering 4th through 7th grades, and they will have the chance to learn about the family that founded Pella on a day that includes crafts, games, and food. The day will start at the Vermeer Windmill and Historical Village followed by a short walk to Scholte House. Registration costs $20 and includes lunch.
