The Carlisle Wildcats proved against the Knoxville Panthers on Saturday night in the Class 4A Regional Semi-Finals to why they are one of the most dangerous offensive teams in the state as Carlisle on the board in the top of the first inning with a three run blast to left field to give the Wildcats an early 3-0 advantage and eventually win 10-1. Coach Steph Christner told KNIA/KRLS her team had a lot of good at bats, but the outcomes just were not what they desired. Taylor Carter was the only offensive dent to the scoreboard for the Panthers as she drove in Knoxville’s only run of the game in the bottom of the third inning on a double into left field. The Knoxville season ends at 14-17-1 on the year.
