34 year old Aaron Lee Chirch, of Prairie City, pled guilty this week in Marion County District Court to charges of domestic abuse assault, second offense; burglary, and stalking. Chirch was arrested in October after Marion County Deputies spotted a pickup reported stolen from southern Jasper County, parked at a residence in northwest Marion County. Officers found Chirch inside the residence, with apparent self-inflicted knife wounds to his abdomen. He allegedly entered the house and had sexually assaulted a woman there, after threatening to kill himself. Court documents show his sentencing is set for July 18 at 11am.
