The Central men’s basketball team had a magical run in the 2014 postseason, going all the way from being picked to finish last in the conference, to the round of 32 in the NCAA national tournament. The Dutch did lose a good chunk of very talented seniors that were a big part of how far the team reached this year. Coach Craig Douma says the incoming freshmen and the handful of returners they have for 2014-15 are hungry to get back on the national stage. Central loses their top two scorers, Matt Greenfield and Kevin Kaerwer, seven points per game out of Fred Pratt, and nearly nine from Spencer Bakerink and Yaw.
