Through with playing the multitude of Class 3A schools in the Little Hawkeye Conference, the Pella Christian baseball team starts postseason play tonight against Albia at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont High. The two schools met in late May in the second game of the season, in a contest that went just five innings in favor of the Blue Demons, 10 – 0. Albia used a seven-run fifth inning to key them to victory. Both teams stumbled in the middle of the season, but ended with a bang; the Eagles won three of their last four, including a sweep of Grinnell, while Albia won nine of their last ten.
