The Knoxville Baseball Squad finished third place in a rugged Little Hawkeye Conference this season. However, the Panthers were just a couple of plays and outs away from winning the conference. Coach Joel Johnson tell KNIA/KRLS if two extra-inning games went the other way, his team could have been at the top. Johnson says he is proud of the season and knows the South Central Conference next season will not be easy with Centerville, Chariton, and Albia among the teams. Knoxville finished 19-14 for the season.
