Are you a golfer? Would you like to win a new car, and contribute to a great cause? Habitat for Humanity of Marion County and Motor Inn of Knoxville are partnering to host the Habitat “Fore” Humanity Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 6, at Pine Knolls Country Club.

Golfers will have an opportunity to win a Chevy Cruze during a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Motor Inn as well as other prizes. Beth Adamcik with Habitat says all proceeds from this tournament will be used to build affordable homes for hard-working, low-income families in Marion County.

This year’s tournament will be an 18-hole, 4-person scramble/best shot format with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. Golfers will have an opportunity to win a Chevy Cruze during a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Motor Inn.

There will also be on-course games and prizes such as longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt, as well as, hole-in-one contests on the additional par three holes for a Sharp LCD flat-screen TV, round-trip domestic airfare for two people, and a set of Callaway irons.

“We invite everyone to play in our tournament,” said HFHMCI Community Outreach Director Beth Adamcik. “Bring your friends, family, clients or co-workers to enjoy a day on the golf course and support a great cause at the same time.”

The $50 per player registration fee includes green fees, cart, prizes and barbecue lunch provided by Rib Shack. Each golfer will also receive a gift certificate for a free golf club.
