Mother Nature is having quite a season at the Knoxville Raceway in 2014. She has won five of the last seven race nights at the half mile, but will never be on the official winner’s list anytime soon. The problem is she does not drive a sprint car, she drives the weather. Rain, again forced cancellation of last night’s racing after a sudden downpour drenched the facility with nearly two inches of rain in a little over an hour. They will try to break the streak next week with a regular triple header of sprint car racing.
