The Iowa Games Statewide 3D Archery Competition will be held at Hickory Ridge Bowhunters just north of Knoxville, this Saturday and Sunday. The range is located just south of the mile Long bridge – just 5 miles north of Knoxville on Highway 14. Cory Kennedy, with the Iowa Games, tells KNIA KRLS News that this is the first weekend of the Iowa Games, and he wants to emphasize that it’s not just in Ames. He says there is a lot of support in Marion County, and Pella Corp is one of their biggest sponsors. He says Marion County had 120 participants in the Iowa Games last year, and it’s great to see athletes come from all over the state.
