Facing some adversity early on in the year, the Pella Christian baseball team still was able to find their way into the double digit side of the win column in 2014. Coach Nate Johnson says it was an exciting season, but they would have liked to have a few more wins than they did. He adds that even with key injuries to certain players towards the beginning of the year, he was pleasantly surprised by how his Eagles responded and came to fight each day. The Eagles went 0 – 10 their first time through the conference, but finished strong, with a record of 4 – 7 in their round trip. Pella Christian went 11 – 22 overall on the year.
