The Knoxville Soccer Club is looking for room to grow. Steve Linsley tells KNIA/KRLS News that the club has grown from three teams in 2009 to 13 this year, with over 135 kids participating.

A small group has been formed that will apply for non-profit status for the club, with fundraising in mind. When obtained they plan to look for funding that will allow them to acquire 10-15 acres for soccer fields and amenities. The goal is to have parking, rest rooms, and a concession stand as well as several fields. The group currently plays at the VA.
