Both the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Central have enjoyed a great upswing as far as wins and success over the past several years. On the men’s side, Coach Garry Laidlaw and his Dutch have only turned in two sub-.500 campaigns in the last 12 seasons, while Mike Kobylinski and the women have achieved at least ten wins in the three years he has been at the helm. Coach Kobylinski says that climbing the ranks of the Iowa Conference is a good goal to have, but at this point, both the men and the women should start setting their sights higher. The men begin their season in exactly one month at home against Wisconsin – Oshkosh, and the women will kick off their season on August 30 up in Minnesota.
