Coming off of a 2013 campaign where his team scored 38 goals while allowing 28 on defense, Central head men’s soccer coach, Garry Laidlaw would still like to see an improvement offensively for 2014. Though they averaged exactly two goals per game last year, the team scored just 11 in their seven league contests, four of which came in a win over Buena Vista. Coach Laidlaw says that the incoming freshmen, and the returners alike, will help to give the team more offensive opportunities this fall. The Dutch will open up their season at home on August 29 against Wisconsin – Oshkosh.
